Sorry its been so long, and this post is way over due. We drove up to my parents and stayed the night then drove up to Rob's family in Illinois and spent a couple days there. Rob's mom always makes a huge dinner on Christmas Eve and we hang stockings and "prepare" for Santa. It was fun to see Robs family and watch Savannah enjoy playing with her cousin. It was also nice to visit with some friends we haven't seen in a LONG time, and to tell the truth we became VERY homesick for St. Louis. Needless to say we had a fabulous time in St. Louis...and everyone stayed healthy! The Sunday after Christmas we drove back down to Branson to have Christmas with my family. It was so much fun, we got some new board games and Merrill was off so we all could hang out and spend time together. Not to mention I love the shopping down there...have I mentioned that? Over all we had an amazing holiday vacation, but its always nice to return home to our own bed.

Yes yes it is, It was a longer ride when we lived in Florida but both of our parents live closer together...but oh well. Next year we probably won't travel because Rob will be "spinning up " for his deployment.
