Today is my mother-in-law's birthday. The woman who raised my amazing husband and two other great kiddos. I've turned to her for recipes, comfort and advice so many times. She is an inspiration and encouraged me to keep chugging along on my degree (she has a PhD mind you). If you've ever seen her with my babies, she radiates love for them. She is always telling the kids how proud of them she is, and always takes an active role in their lives. I don't think I tell her enough how much she means to me. I'm grateful she's my mother-in-law...and my friend.
