For those of you that have a 3 year old little boy, knows how difficult it can be to pin him down to take a picture. Well he was sitting and playing with his superheros...and I grabbed my new camera (which I'm still trying to figure out). Here are some pictures of my sweet boy.

Hi There!

Yesterday was definitely an interesting Valentine's Day. I'd never been a fan of Valentine's Day. Its not that I hated it, I just thought it was a tad overdone and I have to admit it is a thousand times more fun as a wife and mommy. I must say I have 3 1/2 of the sweetest valentines a girl could ask for. I had to spend the morning at an ob check-up. Only for him to refer me to a perinatal specialist. He just wanted to make sure everything was ok since this little girl will probably be here before we know it. So Rob met me down in Norman at the perinatal doc. We had a bit of a wait since they were working us in, so Rob ran some errands while I was waiting to be seen . I was having some issues with the prongs in my engagement ring so Rob took it to an amazing jeweler there in Norman and had the ring reset so I could wear it with my wedding band. The he ran to the super Target( my other love) and picked up some things so I could make a special dinner for the babies. We finally were called back and the perinatal doc did an indepth ultrasound and exam and said that baby girl looks amazing, and at this point there's not a whole lot left to do . We've done everything that they would stop labor to do (i.e. steroid shots). She is also weighing bigger than expected for this week. So he told me just to take it easy and he was pretty confident this one would make it to 36 weeks as well. Anyway when we left Rob suprised me with gorgeous flowers...he is so amazing!

Baby Girl update
Most of you that read this probably already know whats going on, but If I don't write things down I won't remember them. Especially since our kiddos are pretty spaced out and it gets hard for me to compare pregnancies. Rob's been gone with work for the past 2 weeks and before he left I was just really dreading this trip. I've been through these so many times, but for some reason I was so emotional about him leaving this time around. Well a couple night ago I noticed a couple contractions but wrote them off as Braxton Hicks. Well on Tuesday we got a ginormous snow storm that left us with 12.1 inches of snow. The one thing I've learned in the 4 years we've lived here is Oklahoma is never...never prepared for snow/ice. I just kept praying that we would keep power. It makes things a bit more bearable. Anyway when I went to bed on Tuesday night I noticed more contractions, but figured I was just nervous about the weather and being snowed in. On Wednesday my ob called to reschedule my appt since the weather was so bad. I let him know what was going on even though I was feeling fine. Well, given my history with having the other two kiddos early he wanted me to go get checked and atleast get a perscription for medicine to hopefully prevent future contractions. My awesome friend Beth offered to take my babies to her house to play then take me to the hospital to get checked out. I got hooked up to the monitors and I wasn't contracting...she said she could see "irrability" but no contractions (I'm not even sure what that means). Baby looked great and was moving around like crazy. They went ahead and did a cervical exam just to see if the previous contractions did anything. Sure enough I was dialated to a 2 and 60%effaced. Which pretty much stinks. I'm only 32 weeks. They went ahead and gave me a steroid shot to help develop her lungs quicker, just in case. They also gave me a shot of medicine to make sure I didn't contract during the night. So long story short, they sent me home reluntatly as long as I promised to stay on bedrest until I see my ob again this next week. So we're praying she stays in longer. Luckily Rob got permission to come home early, and should be getting in this evening. That will make a world's difference for me. I've missed him so much. Also we have to look forward to our little Savannah's birthday on Saturday!!
