My sweet friend Cathy is a labor and delivery nurse and offered to give us an ultrasound since my ob has a no children policy. She wanted to give the kiddos (and Rob) a chance to see the baby. We also wanted to verify the sex since the ultrasound tech at my 20 week appt was somewhat confident it was a girl but couldn't get a great shot. After cathy had scanned over our sweet baby and checked the sex (still a girl). She taught Savannah how to do it, then let Savannah scan me. Savannah was in heaven, not only is she completely facsinated my anything science realted, she was so excited to see the baby. Cathy also let Rob scan me which was fun. She asked Porter if he wanted to but he was too busy watching....and jumping. It was such a neat experience, and made us all that much more excited for our little addition!

Funny Boy

Porter had his first Sunday in Primary today. For those not of our faith, kiddos stay in nursery until they are 3 then they get to attend a Sunday school class for their age group. Porter moved up today with 3 other little boys all his age. They were so cute sitting in their little chairs and singing songs. I just wish time wouldn't go by so quickly. I feel so unbelievably blessed to be a mommy and to be able to watch these sweet babies grow into amazing children. I try to savor each moment I have with them, and am quickly realizing how quickly they grow. My heart just feels so full of gratitude for the opportunity to teach them, rock them, sing to them , and just be there with them. I truly feel overwhelmed with joy.

Kelly Family Christmas

We drove up to see Rob's family for Christmas and had a great time. We took a fun trip to the Science center and Savannah had a blast. She loves science and it was right up her alley. Porter was not as big of a fan, but loved the dinosaurs. Then we tried an awesome greek restaurant next to Wash U named Olympia's. It was so GOOD. The next day Rob's brother and family came down. I was pretty sick (which is very rare) on Christmas Eve,and spent most of it sleeping. On Christmas morning I was feeling better and got to watch the kiddos enjoy opening presents and watch them go sledding for the first time. They were in heaven out there in the snow. Porter preferred throwing snowballs. It was a fun time for all.
