So i registered for summer and fall semesters, I decided to only take 2 classes per semester this time, since Savannah will be starting pre-k and we want to get her involved in a couple other things. I'm taking a poli-sci class and health this summer and Spanish 1 ( which robs super happy about) and a humanities class this fall. Robs taking a consumer finance class right now, and of right now will be home this fall/winter which might always change. I am going to YW girls camp next week, i was asked to be our ward camp director, so Rob will be in charge of the little ones next week. He's taking 2 weeks off work,so this should be interesting. He's amazing with them, so I'm confident they will be great, he will just get a better appreciation for what i go through when he's gone. Then we are hoping to visit Rob's family in Columbia, IL.
Ears and Antibiotics!
I'm a little frustrated so bear with me, while i vent. Porter had his first ear infection at 6weeks, which is a little young to have them , but has had 5 ear infections since then...that's right i said 5 and he's only 9months old. Ear infections are normally caused by something else and between teething and asthma he tends to get congested easily....which leads to the ear infections. So we took him in last week and he has yet another ear infection (the last one never cleared up) so his Pediatrician put him on a completely different antibiotic, and it seems to be working, but it frustrating to seem him suffer so often. He's normally such a happy baby. If his ears haven't cleared up at his next check-up we are going to ask for a referral to an ear-nose-throat spec.
Hop on the blog-wagon...
So I've been wanting to blog for sometime now, but with my husband's job it is a security issue, btu we solved that problem so I can blog away. We wanted to start this blog to keep in touch with our family and friends who unfortunately aren't near by. Where do we begin? Rob has started his masters degree and decided to get an MBA with an emphasis on finance. When he finishes this degree it will ensure two things; It will help him with promotions in his current job or if we decide to part with his current career it will ensure stable pay in the outside world. I went back to school in Jan and am working on my Bachelors in Secondary education. I stay home with the little ones, and proud to have such an active role in their lives. Savannah is four now and changing so much. She's talking all the time, and has a crazy sense of humor. Porter is 9 1/2 months and into EVERYTHING. He's crawling and cruising about, and I'm sure it won't be long until he walking. Our lives are so busy, but we are enjoying every minute!
